About
Emma Berger-Singer has been working with children in various settings for over 15 years. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Warren Wilson College, a 250-hour yoga certification, and has extensive training in therapeutic and trauma-informed yoga. As a Somatic Therapy Practitioner, she integrates body awareness and movement into her work. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
With years of experience as a children’s art teacher, Emma is passionate about helping children connect with their creativity. She has witnessed firsthand the powerful therapeutic benefits of combining her two greatest passions - yoga and art. Through movement and creative expression, she guides children in exploring their unique gifts while developing essential tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth.
Emma loves spending time with her partner and three young children, engaging in yoga, intuitive movement, watercolor painting, and community-building. She is deeply committed to fostering connection and creativity within families and the wider community.
As the founder of Asheville Kids Yoga & Art, Emma offers community classes, one-on-one therapeutic sessions, school programs, and special events. Her individualized Yoga & Art sessions provide children and families with deeper exploration of social-emotional skills, self-regulation, co-regulation, somatic awareness, creativity, and self-expression through art-making.
Drawing from her background in education, somatic therapy, yoga, and art, Emma helps children discover personalized tools that support their unique needs, empowering them with lifelong skills for self-discovery and well-being.
