Yoga and Art Somatic Sessions help children increase mind and body awareness, strength, flexibility, focus and creativity. Children will learn tools for self-regulation, build social emotional skills, and practice a variety of Yoga poses, breath-work, and mindfulness techniques to use throughout their daily life. These sessions are inspired by nervous system regulation, polyvagel theory and somatic practices. We integrate art and making techniques to further deepen the practices we learn through our movement, mindfulness and visualization. These creative explorations help children with self expression and self exploration.
